Learning as an Adult

As a young person I learnt very quickly that all was asked of me at school was to draw as little attention to myself as possible.

That way, I avoided being asked the hard questions, especially my  academic progress.

Sadly, our attitude to learning in these early days can effect us for the rest of our lives.

On becoming firstly a student, then a teacher, I realised how we learn had changed!

Students are now extremely engaged in the learning process, mostly with the aid of new technologies.

As an adult learner this change makes it much easier  to learn, and also makes learning fun.

You can now interact, question, analyse and learn at much greater speeds, enjoying the learning process as you go.

Most of all with the changes, you may learn at your own pace, i.e. faster or slower to suit yourself.

Welcome to the change!
